JUVENTUS MEANS YOUTH

Juve’s history speaks for itself. 119 years of silverware have made the Bianconeri colours iconic and created a fanbase of millions of supporters around the world. It’s no coincidence the word Juventus means Youth. Founded and developed by young men throughout the club’s history, Juventus combines its historic legacy with forward-thinking targets in a teaching method that aims to convey values that go beyond the playing field. The past and the future are inextricably linked at Juventus, much like the white which embraces the black on our shirts.

The method includes both teaching and the development of football skills and educational training, thus leading children to become young boys, starting from the introduction to the game up to maturity, not just physics. Starting from the recreational and creative aspect of the game of football, the players are involved in activities designed to encourage their all-round development, in a safe and secure environment. The activities are based on respect for the physical and mental well-being of young people in order to make them independent. This project was born to bring Juventus' colours, method and values all over the world and to as many boys and girls as possible, with the following objectives:

Enjoy, amuse and share

Divertirsi, divertire e condividere

Be self-confident and play fair

Promuovere la fiducia in se stessi

Learn to win and to loose with the same degree of dignity

Imparare a vincere e a perdere

Our focus

Young people represent the future and that's why J-Academy is so important. The philosophy at the heart of our work with young people is based around marrying the methodological and more specifically “football” side with an individual’s development as a human being. We aim to help children be the best they can and really believe that sport, particularly football, is a fundamental means of conveying educational values.

Respect, spirit, education

Respect for teamwork, hard graft and good manners are three fundamental tenets of our approach. A well-behaved child, encouraged to act responsibly, will become an adult ready to enter the workforce and interact appropriately with society. As ever, respect for others is vital. In short, we want to develop people first, footballers second. J-Academy is open to young people aged 5-17 who want to pull on the Bianconeri shirt whatever their footballing ability. While the environment is less demanding and selective than the youth academy, it is founded on the same values.
